    Did you know in New York US history classes the civil war is not even discussed?

    We Skipped right over it straight to civil rights of african Americans directly after the war and spent 3 weeks on this then a week on ww1 then 4 weeks on the depression and the 20's and then a week on ww2. Battles were never mentioned .... EVER talked soley about the home front and get this...
