It does look like what I need - especially in the numeric or flip version. The weird thing is, in all the time I had a Blackberry I don't think I ever really made a phone call with it. Anyone care to chime in as to what the reception is like with the Pearl...

What are some cartoons you can think of that had cliche concepts but had really good executions? Maybe some you thought in the beginning weren't going to work, but after watching the full episode you were utterly convinced? What made them work? I'll share one:

Of course, in Cape Fear the only crime he planne don was killing Bart for revenge. If he just didn't plan on committing any more crimes then he wouldn't have to worry about Bart foiling his plans.
It's hard to watch the original series now. The pilot still holds up but most of the later shows dont. I loved the original growing up. I was obsessed with it. But watching it again now....meh.
That said, I gave the new show a chance and just couldn't get into it either. So go fig.
I was talking about the movie. And yeah, that's exactly my point: movies that big dont become forgotten until the generations that saw them when they came out die of.
It would be faithful to the original 1987 sci-fi classic and would be perfect for Spike TV since it would be an adult animated series loaded with language and gore like the original movie.
We'll most likely get repeats of Futurama in the late afternoon, sometime between 5 and 8, with the new eps most likely on Wednesdays after South Park, where it'll get the best ratings.
And, naturally, we always have to see characters who fall from a great height land safely in treetops or swimming pools. :shrug:
I'm also reminded of a discussion about the "keep-alive groan" on one of the DVD commentaries for Batman Beyond, wherein they can have Batman deliver a savage...
