    Is it unsafe to do gardening barefoot? Do others do this with no problems?

    Taking care of a garden where we are housesitting. I like the feel of going barefoot, but my husband is fussing at me about it...

    What are the pros/cons of barefoot hiking?

    My boyfriend wants to do this, and I'm curious but a little squeemish about it.... I definitely don't want to get hurt. Anyone with experience have any advice or thoughts? If you did it, was it worth it?
