if you don't need 3g why not just buy a 2g from everybody trying to sell theres, you're not missing out on anything if you don't want 3g.

take a motorcycle...take it up to the train/elevated subway..and ride in the tracks to Algonquin...get out at one of the stations that doesn't have cops all around...and QUICKLY steal any vehicle you can...great great great fun driving around the city and ducking/fighting cops...
