Interesting, with me it's always been nokia's with the issue. Even on startup I would get a phantom(empty)vm with a notification. Then sometimes an empty text with a real vm. I totally agree with you on this. Human progress is only happens when someone challenges the norm. This has nothing to do with Nokia or phones. If anything I am going to progress personally by not buying any Nokia this year.

You people are aware that the N86 is already available for ~$500 at multiple sites, right? And this is the import version that I'm talking about. There's a decent chance that the NAM variant will be even cheaper.
