the sparkling gouramis grow to 1.5 inches or less. the honey gouramis grow to 2 inches or less so I don't think you are overstocked. also these gouramis are much less aggressive than the dwarf or giant gouramis.

other tetras are best. neons are small, and your tank is small. so other tetras would be best
