i just bought a 95 honda shadow vlx 600CC motorcycle, took it out for the 1st time today and everything is great...till i hit 55mph it is extremely slow to go from 50-60 mph, and if im in top gear it wont accelerate no matter how much throttle i give it, it actually slows down back to 50.

if it is in neutral it will idle fine, and if i give it gas most of the time it rev's up fine, sometimes it bogs down and dies, but as soon as i put it in 1st gear and start to let out the clutch and give it gas it bogs down and dies, ive been riding all summer and never had this problem till...
