    LOL That was mean Anyway, you're a big guy and you'll need a big bike. Of course you're not going to want a 250. A Shadow would be a great bike to start on; low center of gravity, feet flat on the ground, pop the clutch, no big deal. I wouldn't "learn" on any bike I meant to be my first bike...

    Would thermal underwear under denim jeans help with cold motorcycle riding?

    Denim is not good at all for helping retain heat. Nylon and other synthetics are. But If all you have is jeans, and you have to ride when it's approximately 44 - 49 degrees out on a sunny day (35 mph), would "long-johns" help at all? I've ridden while almost hypothermic, and it's NOT fun. I...

    Is there any way to customize my Suzuki GS500?

    All of the custom parts I see in the magazines are for Gixxers and up. I can't really get a custom paint job just yet, but a custom windscreen or undertail kit or flush mounted turn signals would be nice. I can't find anything made for my little 500 :(
