I am interested in these two veterinarian careers. I just wanna know how long it takes to be in this occupation.

I am doing research on a person from a story. The question to the story asked 'can the environment you live in or the people you are around change who you are?' I know that the environment can change you in many ways. But I'm not really sure about people? Can anybody help me out a little.
