    In The TV Series the Sopranos they use the expression Mar-one , what does this mean?

    In Italian movies or Series like The Sopranos the characters when disturbed or upset they say "mar one." I do not know if I spelled this right as I do not speak Italian. Do you know the meaning of this Italian expression.

    What would happen if the government took over the media like in Iran?

    The American media is the Government. Mostly Democratic driven, it paints whoever is in power a certain way.They show President Obama always in a certain golden light. When President Bush was in power they went out of their way to make look as bad as they could.
