Every time I squeeze the brakes, they wont release, or they would release very little,hence making it more difficult to ride my bike. I only have back brakes on 1970's Vista cruiser, its been tuned up when I bought it. How can I fix this at home, without going to the bike shop?

Well if you are not getting any spark to the plugs. Either replace them again or check the plug wires they might be bad. Try starting fluid too, it might help. Did you check your grounding as well?
