It's going to be a very old english style wedding, so i think we're going to have croquet and well (French) cricket, has anyone got any other ideas? It's not going to be really serious games just something to keep everyone amused and having an enjoyable day, there's going to be about 50 of us...

I love the idea, but I think having it during the dancing time may lead to the difficulties you mention, maybe it could be alongside the speeches or cutting of the cake?

There will be around fifty people and it will be in the summer, the gardens are the gardens of an old house and have a little foresty type area at the back, it's maybe five metres deep. There's also a little stream running alongside it with a bridge.

Can anyone help me, it doesnt need to be from a specific era i just need some ideas..I'm thinking 40's 50's style but it's not decided yet for definite. We just want it to be very typically old fashioned English but in a fun way if possible.
