I would get a hard case for the camera, then place it in the back pack. Pelican has some great cases if you're shooting with an SLR. Otherwise, pad up your back pack.

I'd go with the Nissan =) From my experience, Nissan/Datsun/Infiniti are much more fun. Toyota's feel torquier than Honda, but Honda has great high end power with VTEC. Nissan has a great balance of power in the low & high end and the factory handing on the Z's are awesome. Either one you...
