No. Aside from the fact that Cricket doesn't hold a license for Dallas, they generally try not to compete with metroPCS as they're essentially vying for the same segment of the market and it makes more sense economically for Cricket to build out markets that metroPCS isn't interested in.

I too have a Motorola V3m from Verizon, I flashed it to Alltel firmware and am using Cricket for the service with Wap and MMS working well.
