    How do you get an AT&T phone (lg) to work on t-mobile without having to call AT&T?

    My friend gave me a phone but it's from AT&T and i have T-Mobile. To be honest, I'm not sure why i took it but I can't ask him to call because I've lose contact with him. Help please?
