    If amened complaint didn't serve to the defendant before trial, will judge dismiss it?

    I'm waiting for an unlawful detainer trial as a landlord and I made a foolish mistake. I sued 3 defendants and when I submitted the default judgment request for 2 who didn't answer, I submitted an amended complaint with "John Does Tenants" fixed which it wasn't even mentioned on the answer...
