I have a 95 dodge cummins that has a cold start issue, recently at the start of the day when i attempt to turn on the truck it has difficulty turning on. when im turning it on it fires but it wont start, so what i do is press the gas peddle about 1/4 down and it sounds like it wants to start...

I got a 98 Ford F150 4.2 has about 160k miles, and my truck makes a kinda loud Ticking sound when its been just turned on, In the mornings i turn on my truck and it makes a ticking sound but after 5 min of the ticking sound it starts fading away until it stops. after that it will not tick again...
