    is it legal to live in a log cabin in your garden ?

    Hi, We are thinking of building a log cabin in our garden and using it as our bedroom. It is our house that we have a mortgage on, not rented. It will be insulated, 4m by 4m and within the legal regulations. Is it legal to have as a bedroom ? Or are there 'rules' ? Cheers
