if i go to the verizon store and cancel my cell phone contract early will i still be able to keep the phone? they woulnt take it will they?

my bike is a Kx 85 it was having trouble starting and boggs out in 2nd gear, so i took out the spark plug and cleaned it and put it back in and now it starts fine but it still boggs out in 2nd, i think it might it might be the compression, but im not sure if you know anything else it could be...
