I think this, Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter show the pitfalls of trying to turn tournament fighting games into a TV show. If you at least kept in some of the complexities you'd have luck, but turning it into a general good vs evil story just makes for awkward teams. I'm amazed a kids show...
