If it's a CRT, the only thing I can say for sure that it will be cheaper to buy a new one on Craigslist than to try and fix it. A mere 2 hours of labor at a repair shop will be more than the cost of a used CRT TV. Perhaps this is a good excuse for you to upgrade.

If you have audio but no video, first check the cable bundle from your tuner which is probably a set top box from your cable company. The yellow video cable may be loose.
