    how can i siphon out a dirty fish tank without inhaling any sick water?

    is sand good for painted turtle substrate?

    i am getting a 3-5inch painted turtle and i want to put sand in the bottom of the 30gallon aquarium? and if not can i put rocks in that are too big to eat?

    how big should a 4-5inch painted turtle tank be?i plan to put it in a 30gallon for now while its still small. and what would be a good size tank for a 6-7inch turtle? and a good size tank for a 7-10inch painted turtle?
