Chew on the cost and get the Blackberry 9700. Its the best Berry so far. I've got people who had used other Berries before including the Bold 9000 and the comment was that the Bold2 9700 is that much better over the 9000 Bold, starting with the speed and stability of the OS.

I don't know anything about mods or release dates. It's only over seas right now so, I don't really keep up with it too well. I know the original Galaxy S has had Cyanogen for a long time now and was heavily supported by the modding community. Not sure what's taking them so long to release...

Are you sure Acanac uses the same ports?

Hopefully they will release it as quickly as they did the E71. Maybe a couple weeks apart. If not at least it will have the 1900mhz band :P for early adopters

Same as you, I don't see how or why Nokia would put a glass faceplate over a resistive screen, unless they've come up with some new material that exhibits the same resistance to scratching as glass while still having the flexibility of plastic.
