I test drove a Civic Si 2 door and I could not believe how cheep it felt. It didnt seem that quick either. I then test drove a Mazda and couldnt believe the difference in quality. The mazda felt so much better put together and the interior materials felt high quality.

My 2008 RX-8 never got above 18mpg no matter what fuel i used. It frequently only got 16mpg. I was overjoyed if it got above 17mpg....the car isnt meant to be efficient and the Auto trans is worse yet...it is the price you pay for all that power and redline 9,000 rpm from a 1.3 liter non turbo...
