I've never ever considers these things in my purchasing before, all i really paid attention to was the speed. I'm thinking of getting 2x 4 gigs of ram but on new egg it's got a cast latency of 9 and timing of 9-9-9-24 and my best guess for this is just go with the lower numbers?
