    Will a Bluetooth calling device work on a 3rd gen iPod touch?

    I have now bought two Bluetooth hedsets that were built for iPhone and other devices that didn't work my 2nd one is 2.1+EDR like in the iPod touch decription it is compatible with but it is just not working???but I was thinking does it only work with blue tooth head phones?
