FWIW, my old euro 5800 was a much nicer firmware at v20 than my current nam firmware v20.... i'm sure that firmware development HAS to be a lot of beta usage and the subsequent bug reporting by users.....and i think that there are simply more people using the euro phones which makes the euro...
