Is it possible to forward an email to someone and change the original text so that it looks different. e.g. if I (mary) write to bob and say - 'I will send you 25 boxes'. Then bob forwards a reply and he has changed my text to say 'I will send you 100 boxes'. Is this possible?

I am thinking of having it like that because 1.it is more flexible like that in terms of the number of people being fed, &times 2. a selection of food means you will probably get something you like. 3. The people can mingle during the meal rather than be forced to sit next to the same person...

I don't have much experience with these things. we are a small business and the lawyers are doing quite a few things for us. would it be expected for us to take them out to lunch at the company's expense? would it be more of a nice gesture, or would it just be weird? thanks
