I read the message yesterday and I am 100% sure that I didn't delete it and nobody else uses my account. Then why can't I find it today?

Everytime I chat with anyone, after 5 minutes it shows that the person whom I am chatting with is offline. And after 2 minutes, he is again online then again offline. The other person says that its showing that I am going offline every now and then. I am just sick of it! What can be a solution...
