I agree, stand alone is your best bet. Only apps on phones that store maps don't require data. And even then you will probably need data for some features like traffic, updates, search, etc. Also most GPS apps that store maps usaully cost about the same as a stand alone and then you have to...

Going to guess that someone had the copy before release, set the date forward so the console wouldn't rat them out later that they played it before release. The day it came out they beat it after 25 minutes of playing, so the start time and end time are the same day to the console

Just got back from NYC flagship. Did not buy as I think 700 plus tax is too steep for this phone (even though I bought the n95-2 at full price when it was first released) Played with it for 5 mins. Thoughts - store was quiet, no frenzy or atmosphere over the n97. - phone does not feel cheap...

ordered from dell today. I've had generally bad experiences with Dell laptops and ordering of mobiles from them, I'll post my impressions when it shows up.
