    Is the financial aid office at my school supposed to give me financial aid if

    it's not enough? My school is only offering me a small amount of money for my tuition. If I can't afford my tuition shouldn't I be receiving more financial aid from my school? This school is private and telling me that I should apply for another school isn't possible and out of the question.

    How much money should I receive from my college?

    The school I will be attending is a private school, and they are only offering me $1,000. Shouldn't they be offering me more money? If so, how much more? I am already receiving federal aid and I come from a low income family. When you recieve financial aid, does that include aid from the school?
