I've been cutting myself for a while now, but no adults know. I just realized some time in the near future I'm going to have to go to the doctors for a check up. What would happen if I went and the doctors saw the cuts (or if I stop, the scars) on my arms? What would the doctor do?

I've been waiting till I felt ready, and I feel ready now, but I'm totally clueless on exactly how to do it. How do I do it? Someone is expecting me to do it soon, what do I do to make it the best for them, without making me seem weird? sorry, to a guy
