...drive, idle surges and fades? Ford F 150 XL 5.0 L has 171K , Starts and drives but when stepping on the gas while on drive it hesitates and seems to die down..(loses power)..if put on neutral..and step on gas it reacts normal..However it sometimes gets out of this mode and drives better...

94 Ford f150 Xl.. starts and runs and drives but stumbles on acceleration...if I take my feet of the gas and press again it accelerates better... on higher speed it drives better..when I make a stop it's hard to get it accelerated..any clue where to start to look...any hint would be appreciated.
