    I tried to dye my hair but it didnt work! why?? ombre hair?

    I put it only on the bottom to get the ombre hair look but it didnt work! It got a little lighter but not a noticable difference. I left it on for half hour the box I got was blonde and my hair in dirty blonde..should I get a lighter color or should I keep it on longer?
