    Blackberry Curve 8500, without Data Plan but still has internet?

    I just got a blackberry curve 8500 today and my mom said she did not put a data plan on it, but the internet, facebook, twitter..ect. work? Is it even possible to have internet even without data plan. I looked on the status online at tmobile.com and it said i have "blackberry unlimited web"...
