I would say the o2 sensro stated by the other person beacuse you dont have the computer that monitors the fuel/air ration beacuse its carbureted if im right.

Make sure your distibutor isnt bad and that its hitting on time and creating the sparks. I've heard theres a little white or gray residue that can build up. Just clean it off
