    Why doens't any one in movies and TV shut doors?

    In a commercial for heating services, people do not close the front door. Possum scares a character out the bathroom and the character doesn't shut the door. Unless closing the door makes a point, it usually does not happen. Exceptions might be: slamming a door, softly closing the sleeping...
