OK so the way I put my last question wasn't very good. I'll ask it like this. Are there any summer camp's that will have a boy's camp with a lake in the middle, and then a girls camp?

I've always wondered where the whole separation at summer camp's by a lake came from. (I mean when the "boy's" camp is separated by the "girl's" side by a lake) The reason I ask this is because I have a bet going. My friend say's it's a myth and I say it's a stereotype.
