    What could be causing the hold light on my 04 Suzuki Verona to start flashing?

    It happened after I got off the freeway, the car jerked, and started running like crap. It would pick up very slow in 1st and 2nd gear, then fine after it hit 3rd. Can it be due to overheating, causing the trans to act erradically?
