My samsung intercept wont lock itself... i have it set to lock in 15 sec. then the light dims then turns off then right away it opens by itself it doesnt lock.. plus when it does this the volume goes up by 1

I can see picture messages on my lg rumor touch on virgin mobile.... i have the plan where i have unlimited txt pic txts web and data my friend sent me a picture message and i cant see it please help
