If the phone is an recent AT&T branded firmware phone, then unlocking won't help you.
When AT&T rips out the band selection menu, it stays ripped out. Only phones that can be flashed with generic firmware can be band switched.

your sim card is your identity. it tells the system who you are and if you're suppose to get 3g or not. The new one is not active in the system. so it's best to use your current sim.
Only change sim if you lost your old one or need a sim with larger memory. there's an ID number on the sim...
I highly doubt that, why would they advertise it in the other colors if they aren't going to be offered? Makes no sense.
If it's not offered in all 5 of the colors, I will march straight to a Nokia office and punch somebody in the throat.

That was a mistake. I never actually clicked the submit button. I fell asleep and when i woke up my screen was totally black and unresponsive (happens whenever i leave a divx video load up and fall asleep) I restarted the computer and was thankful that I had not posted that angry tired...
Dont know why people keep saying n82 is better .. N86 is way way better than n82 .. and with ver 20 its a brilliant cam phone even without xenon flash.

See statements like this is what bother me. Sure its true as we all know that tethering over BT is slower than USB. But it really should NOT be.
