any idea as to if and when they are going to be starting up as new season of Dexter???

seems like in the oold days, the fastest shutter sync to flash was 1/60th....why exactly would we NEED a faster shutter sync...like what does it do....OK apparenly faster sync cut out most of the ambient liight....but what else.....like when you would nee a flash shutter synd to be like 1/1000th...
