This is the first time I've replaced this converter. The new converter (which is a direct fit replacement) came with new gaskets, but NOT new mounting bolts, is it OK to reuse the original bolts as long as they're in good shape?

The car has right at 92k miles, and it's throwing up a check engine code P0420 which is supposedly either the downstream O2 sensor or and insufficient cat. I put a new O2 sensor on, reset the computer, and after a couple of days that same code came up again. Is it possible the converter is going...
