The car dealership is a Chevy dealership and they claim unless a car is $5,000 or more, they can't get a loan from the bank for the car, is this true?? If so, can I borrow myself from a bank for a small amount?? How do I go about this?

If for example a car is $6,000 dollars and you put a down payment for $3000 and say for example a month later want to pay off the amount in cash of the car, do you need to finish paying off with whatever interest would have been left or just pay off for the total amount of $6,000, how does this...
