I'm going to say -over sized glasses with the lens popped out -3D glasses and i'm sure i'll think of more. Oh, don't even get me started on shutter shades.

I would say that the Earth is heating up, but to an extent. I personally believe that people are building it up much more than is necessary. I like to do research as well and I can't deny that the Earth has gotten a bit warmer. I'm not into the whole "the world is going to melt and flood"...
