Car; computer? Do they actually cut you a check, from the difference of the tuition?

I qualify for financial aid. My mother is single with 3 kids, I have a child of my own & no job (cant find one). My mother has a job. I know i qualify for financial aid. Im going to college in august & i need a laptop and car. Can i buy a car with financial aid? I really need one, & a laptop.
