I think you should wait a while, you are still to young. The older one will be out of school next year. Which means he may be going to college and could be out of your life for short time. If it is meant to be you can always go out with him later.

If you have a carb it is under the air filter on top of the engine, you could try a good fuel system cleaner. Try Lucas they make a pretty good product and all you have to do is pour it into your gas tank.
