    the messages in my nokia xpressmusic 5800 are gone,please help?

    okay so I was textin my cousin last night and suddenly my phone stopped workin(it hanged)..I tried to switch it off but it didn't switch off so I took out the battery and put it back after 2-3 minutes,usually it works but it hasn't worked this time..first it didn't show the icons on switchin...
