The interior hood release will not release the hood. Is there a way to release the hood from outside the car?

I'm about two weeks late for my period. I've felt cramps off and on and my back hurts and normally if that happens my period comes the next day but it hasn't. I've taken 2 ept and 1 first response....All came out negative. What is going on? I'm not underweight.
