i got the samsung rogue with a 25mb data package...so my question is does just being on the internet cost against my mb's? or only downloads?

i have verizon and a data package so i have it on my phone...so i dont think it costs money to use it i assume? i checked online to see if it charged to my data package per msg and it doesnt seem too...but does it cost anything with an unlimited texting plan and a data package?
